a short roguelike game created for 7DRL Challenge 2025

instructions:

  • mouse drag to move the camera view
  • left mouse click to move
  • character(s) will always split when possible 
  • character(s) will attack other nearby characters 1 square away
  • characters' actual positions aren't final until post-combat 
    • e.g. 50% means the character has a 50% chance of being there

Likely needed to have phases for the game - ie, non-combat phase (where you move around one character) and combat (where you start splitting and fight enemies).


It was...interesting, splitting the character. Maybe if there was an option to make the character move faster, i'd be engaged enough to go to the next floor.  Sorry to hear in the devlog that you didn't have enough time left for making the game, but you managed to bring a finished game, so that's something.
